| How We
Shoot Portraits... We rarely shoot a full-length formal pose without at the same time shooting a close-up portrait. Whenever possible we render our portraits in available light. When we do use flash, we use special light softeners to preserve natural skin tones and avoid shiny spots on cheeks, noses and foreheads that are the result of the harsh light from undiffused flash. On special occasions we will bring large studio lights equipped with umbrellas to spread and soften the light in a most flattering manner. However, we have often been told that many of our more candid, unposed shots turn out to be as pleasing, if not more so, than some formally posed portraits. With us you get the best of both worlds. All portraits are color-corrected and retouched. Let's discuss your commitment celebration, domestic partnership registration, union ceremony, or wedding. Phone us at 562-234-8016.
