Frequently
Asked Questions... Q: How many photographers will be at our wedding? A: We are a father and daughter team, so you get two highly experienced wedding photographers for the price of one. It is not possible for one photographer to be in two places at the same time, so it follows that some important moments will be lost if you have but one photographer. Q: How many photos do you typically take? A: We take up to 1000 photos depending on the number of hours we are there. Of course many of these are thrown out due to subjects blinking or out-of-focus due to the camera being bumped, etc. Q: How do we see proofs of our photos? A: You receive all your photos on a high resolution DVD disk. In addition, all of your images will appear on a website to which only you have access with the password we provide you. There you can see all of your photos and order prints through SmugMug.com. Or if you'd rather choose your own printer, you can have prints made from your DVD. Q: How can our relatives and friends, order prints? A: If you provide them with the password that we give you they can visit the proofing and ordering website where they can order prints through SmugMug.com or just enjoy your photos. This saves you the hassle of ordering for them. Q: Do you color-correct or retouch the photos? A: Yes, we color-correct and retouch all images. We correct skin blemishes, hot spots, or discoloration. | Q: Are
albums included in your packages? A: Many photographers include leather-bound albums in their packages as a way to boost their prices. The high mark-ups they add to these albums often result in costs beyond the budget of many couples. Instead, you have the option of either having prints made by the printer of your choice using your DVD, or you can order prints and gift items through SmugMug.com. Q: What kind of equipment do you use? A: We use high-end Nikon digital cameras along with the finest lighting equipment. Q: Do you use flash? A: When necessary yes, in addition to available light. When we shoot flash we make every effort to make it appear as natural light by using softeners and bouncing our lights. Q: Will you be intrusive during our ceremony? A: We always make it our goal to be discreet and not draw attention to ourselves. Although we are constantly moving around the venue for lots of different angles and viewpoints, brides often comment on how they did not even see us. Q: Do you shoot black and white? A: We can convert any of your color photos to high-quality and very artistic black and whites. We can even sepia-tone them if you like.
